EPS (Employment Permit System) Korea
G-to-G (government)The official government-to-government route (BP2MIβHRD Korea) for manufacturing, fishery, and agriculture. Entry is via the EPS-TOPIK test β registration is announced by BP2MI, usually once a year per sector.
Core requirements: Age 18β39, no Korean deportation history, pass EPS-TOPIK + skills/physical tests.
SSW / Tokutei Ginou Jepang
Via licensed agencyJapan's official work status for 12+ sectors. Entry requires two tests: JFT-Basic/JLPT N4 + a sector skills test (Prometric) β test sessions open year-round.
Core requirements: 18+, pass JFT-Basic/JLPT N4 + the sector skills test; placement via licensed agencies or direct application.
G-to-G Jepang (Careworker/Nurse)
G-to-G (government)The BP2MIβJapan government program (IJEPA scheme) for nurse and careworker candidates β funded language training, official placement, annual quota.
Core requirements: Nursing diploma/degree (nurse) or careworker training; pass BP2MI's administrative & interview selection.
Magang Jepang (TITP)
Via licensed agencyThe 1β3 year technical intern program via licensed sending organizations β the beginner's door without SSW tests; graduates can upgrade to SSW test-free.
Core requirements: Typically 18β30, healthy, high-school graduate, basic Japanese (trained at the center).
Penempatan Taiwan via P3MI
Via licensed agencyFormal placement (factory operators, caregivers, construction, fishing crew) via licensed agencies with KDEI-verified job orders β relatively fast, year-round.
Core requirements: 18+, healthy (Taiwan MCU), position-specific training; scrutinize contract deductions before signing.
Ausbildung Jerman
Independent routeGermany's paid vocational training (2β3.5 years) β earn Β±β¬1,000β1,300/month while studying, then continue to full employment. Main intakes August/September, some FebruaryβMarch; apply 6β12 months ahead.
Core requirements: German B1 (nursing B1βB2), high-school diploma, an Ausbildung contract from a German company, training visa.
Triple Win (Perawat Jerman)
G-to-G (government)The official GIZβBP2MI program for Indonesian nurses in Germany: funded language training, placement at standard German wages, supported recognition process.
Core requirements: Nursing diploma/degree + active license, work experience (typically 1β2 years), commitment to reach German B1/B2.
Work & Holiday Visa Australia (462)
Independent routeA 1-year (extendable) work-holiday visa for ages 18β30 β Indonesia's quota is limited and opens each Australian fiscal year (Β±July); requires a government recommendation letter (SRPI) whose queue fills fast.
Core requirements: Age 18β30, IELTS β₯4.5, β₯2 years tertiary education, Β±AU$5,000 funds, the SRPI letter.
Kerja Formal Australia (Sponsor Employer)
Independent routeEmployer-sponsored skilled visas for trades β chefs, welders, technicians, nurses. The strictest process on this list (skills assessment + IELTS) but the highest wages; runs year-round.
Core requirements: Recognized skills (assessment), IELTS 5.0β6.0, an Australian employer nomination.
Penempatan Timur Tengah via P3MI + Musaned
Via licensed agencyFormal-sector placement (hospitality, construction, logistics, healthcare) via licensed agencies with Musaned-registered contracts β demand peaks before hajj/umrah seasons. Never accept pilgrimage-visa work offers.
Core requirements: 18+, GAMCA medical, a Musaned contract via a licensed agency; wages must be bank-paid in your name.
Kapal Pesiar (Cruise) via Manning Agency
Via licensed agencyInternational cruise work (F&B, housekeeping, galley) via licensed manning agencies β dollar wages + tips, repeating 6β9 month contracts; year-round recruitment.
Core requirements: 18+, Basic Safety Training (BST) & seafarer's book, conversational English, hotel/F&B experience is a plus.

Via licensed agencyThe closest formal placements (operators, construction, F&B, healthcare) via licensed agencies β the lowest departure costs and easy trips home; year-round.
Core requirements: 18+, meet work permit/S-Pass (SG) or PLKS (MY) requirements; ensure the job order is embassy-verified.

π How to verify an agency's license (P3MI/LPK)
Before signing anything, make sure the agency is genuinely licensed. Four steps, all free:

Ask for the company's official name & licence number (SIP3MI for P3MI, or a LPK licence). Legitimate agencies don't mind being asked.

Check the company name in the government's official P3MI list (Kemnaker/BP2MI sites). Not on the list = walk away.
- 3
Confirm the vacancy is posted on official channels (SIAPkerja/Karirhub) β not just a WhatsApp poster or social media.
- 4
Watch for red flags: large upfront fees, passport confiscation, being told to hide it from family, or departing on a tourist visa.
