FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is KI Academy different from other course platforms?

We are not a course platform. Courses end when the video ends; KI Academy measures your readiness, guides you through real mentors, and connects you to real opportunities. The end result is not a certificate — it is being ready to depart.

Is the assessment free?

Yes. The assessment and your Global Readiness Score are free. Fees apply only to the Global Foundation Program.

I don't know yet whether I want to study, win a scholarship, or work abroad. Can I join?

That is exactly what the assessment is for. It maps the most realistic pathway for you.

My English is still basic. Can I still join?

Absolutely. A low starting score is not a rejection — it is a starting point. The program is designed to raise your readiness step by step.

What if I cannot afford the program?

Apply through the Funding & Fellowship track. High-readiness candidates with genuine need may receive support from our sponsor partners (selective).

Is my data safe?

Yes. Partners only see an anonymous summary profile (candidate code, score, pathway) — and only with your consent. Contact details are shared only after your approval and admin verification.

How long until I am 'Ready'?

It depends on your starting point. Your score updates every time a document is approved, a module is completed, or an interview is passed — so you can see exactly how close you are to Ready for Matching.

How do I choose a destination country?

Start from the Destination Hub (/destinasi): every country has a full guide — legal schemes & indicative salaries for the work track, scholarships & costs for the study track, plus a preparation timeline. Compare first, then decide. You can also set target countries in your profile so jobs and recommendations adapt.

Can I get notified about new jobs or scholarships?

Yes, for free. Fill the "Notify me" form on any country guide or the job board — just your email (WhatsApp optional). When a new job opens in a country you care about, we'll send it over. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in each email.

How long should I prepare for studying abroad?

Ideally start 12–18 months before intake: language test first, then documents (CV, essays, recommendations), then university & scholarship applications ± 6–9 months before departure. Each country guide has a timeline counted back from its intake.

Are the testimonials on this site real?

Yes. We never display fake testimonials — every story comes from students who were actually hired or reached Ready status, submitted from their own dashboard and moderated before publishing. When there are none, the block stays empty.

What is my data used for?

Your profile and documents are used only to assess readiness and — with your consent when applying — shared with the relevant placement/campus partner. We never sell data. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
